New York City – Season 51 of Saturday Night Live is starting October 4th. The new cast was recently announced. Spoiler Alert: everyone was fired. Here is the new cast list and each new cast member’s roles.

Morgan Freeman – God

Robert Downey Jr. – Redemption arc

Will Smith – Protecting the audience from comedy

Scarlett Johansson – Nepotism

Joaquin Phoenix – Putting smiles on everyone’s faces

Tom Cruise – Stuntman (with an extra strong neck)

Tom Holland – Teenager who looks scared

Zendaya – Anyone, required to join as Tom Holland did

Lorne Michaels was interviewed about the cast changes. He didn’t say anything we found interesting.
